premature aging ebonite lining

we run a fossil fired supercritical boiler (power generation). Recently we faced problem of premature aging (blistering) of the rubber (ebonite) in the condensate polisher's vessels.
Would any rubber expert advice on posible causes other than high temperatures or high acid concentrations?
