WE must layup our boilers, generator, turbines and Balance of plant for long term cold weather survival. Any suggestions??

Have you discussed how to ensure that these systems are completely dry?

Any water left in the system will cause localized corrosion that could fail catastrophically. Drain lines, make lines... typically run through people space. If you cannot ensure complete drying, then then you could use an N2 blanket.

Try to use the heat of operation to drive the moisture out when removing them.

You might consider the use of dehumidification equipment for the boiler furnace and back end. Munters has a product. Just google "munters" and "dehumidification". Lots of hits.

I recommend N2 blanketing if you have any steel tubed FWH's.
