Neat. Perhaps you'd know the answers to some of these questions based on your read:
1) Can it be shear reinforcing too?
2) Do they speak at all to fire proofing or tampering?
3) Accurately prestressing something in the field isn't easy. Just yield 'em?
4) The benefit to lap splices as one moves away from the corners must drop off?
I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.

...let me read it first. I got attracted by the pretty pictures!
I shall get back to you. I too took issue with fireproofing, and vandalism etc., and having to make slots in the slab overhead to gain access - because how often do we in the real world have rectangular sections without a slab.

I used to "band" stacks of wood trusses with stuff that looked very similar. The bands tensioned with a tool that looked like big pliers and could easily snap a stack of MSR chords in -30C if you weren't paying attention. So glad I went to college...
