I was watching a YouTube video on the construction of a post-tensioned flat slab and found myself intrigued by a few details. In Figure A, I’m curious about the purpose of the red and blue cables—what role do they serve? Also, in Figure B, I’m wondering what the elements shown are used for. If anyone has insights, I’d really appreciate your response! Thank you.

The red and blue cables are electrical conduit. The black plastic cylinders are sleeves cast into the slab (for pipes).
