POLOTING OF POINTS TO DETERMINE TRUE POSITION

WE ARE IN NEED OF A SOFTWARE (SHAREWARE OR PORFESSIONAL SUITE) WITH AN EASY TO LEARN INTERFACE WHICH WILL ALLOW US TO COMPILE POINT DATA (X,Y [MAYBE Z]) PLOT THE DATA AND OVERLAY OR SUPER IMPOSE A TRUE POSITION (CIRCULAR TARGET) GRAPH OVER THE DATA POINTS TO DETERMINE IF THE POINTS ARE IN TOLERANCE. IF ANYONE HAS KNOWLEDGE OF SUCH A SOFTWARE PLEASE COME FORWARD.

If what you need is a hardcopy in a graphical form this is quite simple to implement in AutoCad (or any other Cad software), where you would input point coordinates on the keyboard or read them from a disk file. I don't know any existing application, but any software consultant operating on Cad applications would do it with a limited effort.
If what you need is only an analysis of a set of points and a report on their compliance to the intended location, then Excel is certainly an answer: I can hardly believe that its 15 figure precision is not sufficient!

How many points are you plotting.
Three will give you a defined circle
which you can quickly layout in acad
or such. All other points could then
be defined from you graphic ponts
perpedicular to this basic circle.
Or have I made your problem too simple?
