Poisson's ratio data is not easy to obtain from simple tensile testing.

I've read multiple studies on the interwebs and there is not a lot of solid data on how Poisson's of steel changes with temperature.

I've seen studies that show 0.3 at 20C and 0.26 at 1000C.. but I've seen in the same paper a slightly different stainless grade has 0.29 Poisson's throughout the temp range. This is for a forging simulation in Ansys Workbench.

Thanks, Jeff Check.
