Hi,
Me and my customer have problem calculating forging ratio.
There is a requirement for a product with a forging ratio of at least 3.5S.
For this product, the first cogging was done at 1.7S, followed by upsetting at 1/1.4U, and the final cogging at 2.3S.
Therefore, I calculated the forging ratio as 1.7S x 2.3S = 3.9S.
However, the customer insists that only the final cogging should be considered, so the forging ratio is 2.3S for this product.
How should the calculation be done in such cases?
Is there any code or calculation method related to this?
