hello,
i want to ask if anyone have an idea about Poisson ratio of glass fiber reinforced polypropylene.
thank you.

Elias12:
Ask your raw material suppliers, or better yet the people who will make the product for you. They should know much more/better about their materials, processes and methods than any of us, and they can also guide you in you design. The mechanical properties are very dependant on the raw materials and the lay-up orientations of the various materials. The mech. props. are definitely not isotropic.

Hello,
I asked them and they dont know.
The material is chopped strand so poisson ratio can be isotropic and i just need an approximit number if anyone has worked in such thing.
Thank you
