carbon steel pipe tig weld useing a chill ring should there be any gap between the ends of the ring when fit inside the pipe and shouldthe chill ring fit tight agenced the inside of the pipe. The fit-up I now has a 1/8" gap end to end and does'nt fit tight on the I.D. of the pipe.
