PIC RAM DATA GETS CLEARED 1

Hi people,
I tried on many forums, and had no luck. I work with PIC18F452 microcontroller and have strange problem. In some momment all RAM data goes to 0. I guess that it could be bad power supply (tried many types...). Does anyone know WHY is this happening?

If you're trying retain volatile data through a brown-out, then you need either a battery to keep the controller powered-up or non-volatile memory that you write to periodically and read upon power-up.

Like I said:
Seems like a small battery would be in order here.

Assure that the battery is large enough to power the
board alone, then use the existing supply as a
charger, and connect the board directly to the
battery. Power any ancillery relays, displays,
etc. from the original supply.

smoked; have to disagree here -- a properly sized
and designed battery inclusion should be trouble-
free for years. And one can always use a holder
if end-user service is desirable.
