Does anyone know of a good reference for PI&D drawings and/or process piping control diagrams?

These are generally based on ISA standards (

http://www.isa.org).

The I&C symbols are frequently from ISA 5.1. In addition, there are other ISA standards and several books published by ISA dealing with documentation for I&C systems that describe P&IDs.

A standard for creating P&IDs has been developed by PIP (

http://www.pip.org).
