Phenol formaldehyde resin

I am looking for a resin that is similar or a suitable alternative to one formerly made by Monsanto (Monsanto 588). From what I understand, the compound was a phenol formaldehyde resin (2 step Novolak), 62% solids and 38% alcohol. No Hex-A or lime were included. Is anybody familiar with the Monsanto 588 or this type of resin? Can anyone tell me where I might find something similar or a comparable alternative? Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.
