Dear All,

We are working one of the job having iron (2.6 ppm ) and manganese (1.1 ppm) & we are planned to remove iron and manganese through aeration system( air blower).

My question is this how much percentage of iron & manganese will remove from the system.

Regards

You will have to add some details on your process in order to make an informed post.

Aeration alone will not remove iron and manganese. Aeration will convert iron and manganese from the soluble form of the elements to the insoluble form of the elements.

The removal efficiency will depend on how the treatment process operates (pH, retention time, etc. )and the other treatment processes (filter, etc.)
