Hi Everyone,
I have experience with municipal drinking water wells but it was many, many years ago. I am currently working on one now and a test well has just been performed and I am waiting on the well test report. I post this because I was asked about what I will need from the hydrogeologist. I really am expecting to have at least water quality data (constituents per county requirements), geophysical log showing static water level, pumping water level, water bearing zones with gpm, casing depth and diameter, bore hole depth and diameter, recommended pump setting. Please let me know if I am wrong, but my well section will be based on the information provided by the hydrogeologist, and I will show my pump, level transmitter, etc.

Thanks for any input.

David

Looks like you have everything.

It looks like you have a good start. The question is, what is your final deliverable? i.e. TX (TCEQ) has a specific checklist of information that must be submitted for review after a PWS well has been completed. From a hydrogeology perspective, the requirements are pretty weak. There are regional groundwater conservation districts (GCDs) in some parts of the state that may also have specific requirements.
