PDMLink and the external shrinkwrap feature 1

Hello All,

I have an assembly that was provided to me that has some parts in it that have external shrinkwrap features. The problem is when trying to check into PDMLink the externally reference parts that pertain to the external shrinkwrap features show up as ghost objects (aka "incomplete CAD documents") and check in fails.

Obtainin the actual parts that were used for the external shrinkwrap features is not possible, because the company is using the external shrinkwraps to protect the internal guts of their design.

So I am curious if there is a work around or some setting I can use (either in Pro or in PDMLink) or if I am just up a creek.

If you do a manual/custom check in, there is an option involving incomplete files - see below
