past due alerts or reporting

Is there away to be alerted when any project actual start/finish is past due, like a popup? If this is not possible, is there a report that can give this information?

If you are working with Project 2003 or 2007, insert the column Status Indicator. This might help.

For more of a "popup", try working with the field Deadline and watch the Indicators column on the left.
