Share PDF &/or MS Project 2007 File(s)

Hi,

I'm seeking a way to Save my MS 2007 project into a '.pdf' format. It appears that I need Adobe Professional to create a '.pdf' file, but I do not have.

Is there an alternative method to get?

Also,

I heard SharePoint may be good to have others review the project. How can this be set up?

You should be able to find numerous PDF writers that act as a virtual printer. You print the file to a location as a PDF file.

This '.pdf' convertor works!! The quality of conversion could be improved, but perhaps that's because I have colored work packages.

You might want to search for other PDF Printers if you are unsatisfied with the results, as some of the free ones are a bit low quality, but resemble some of the paid for programs, and some of the paid programs are very nice for relatively low cost.

And there is also Mircrosoft's XPS Document Writer, which can be an alternative to PDF documents.

Try cutepdf. It's free and I get very good coloured pdfs, also for MS Project. You just have to add it as printer. The program tells how to act.

I use an Adobe product called "CutePDF Writer" and it works fantastic. I simply just print my MS Project schedule straight to PDF, a popup asks for a filename and location and I post this on Sharepoint for my project teams that just need read-only-access. I also (on Sharepoint) provide the actual MS Project file in another folder location whereby my teams can do what-if scenarios, etc. The "actual" official file is kept safe/secure in a network folder with limited access. If your sharing with teams PDF is an awesome method and coupled with Sharepoint and a bit of folder setup and user access you'll have some great project team communication in place.
