Partition cell and element type

Hi, I am new to abaqus. I am trying to put a concentrated load on the middle of the masonry wall at 5%,50% and 85% distance from the top. Is it the best way if i use partition cell to define the middle point and partition edge to define distance from the top?

And for the element type, there are C3D8, C3D8R and C3D8I and I am not sure which one should I use. Because I got quite different values from these result
