Parallel Tailing Beam/Skirt Stiffening Beam Internal Moment Coefficient Kr and Kt

Can anyone share how can we calculate Kr and Kt for Parallel Beams configuration as shown on page 685 & 687 of Pressure Vessel Design manual 4th Edition by Denis Moss. refer below snap for it? or reference to calculate from Roark formula.

it is being calculate in AutoPipe Vessel. but no formula mentioned.

AutoPIPE Vessel uses internal tables and FEA-backed data, It's a proprietary FEA-based database for support configurations.

I suppose you could validate using Roaks, maybe if you share some details i can check in solid sim

Okay. Thanks for the response. Could you please suggest which case is applicable from Roark's formula for Circular rings?

Could you elaborate? My company designed lifting lugs for its pressure vessels up to 1000 tons, we haven't had yet to pick up any heat exchanger on the floor.

Please see Google for videos and photos of vertical PV mounting without welding any lifting/tailing lugs.

I worked with Reactor Pressure Vessel (nuclear): no lifting lugs were used

I'm also pretty sure the main lifting support at the top of the collumn is also a lug
 
I'm talking about lifting lugs not welded to the pressure vessel.
 
If the client spec says they want a tailing lug, they're gonna get a tailing lug :)
 
1) If the client requires some ridiculous design, I (as the manufacturer) can decide not to send a bid.

2) If the client requires some ridiculous design, I (as a design engineer) can decide to add "Per Client Request" in the document.
