Does anyone know of a good reference (free or paid) where I can get interaction diagrams for concrete members? I need this for the PE Exam. I am finding that the the Structural Engineering Ref. Manual and my text books only cover a very limited number of cases. I am hoping to find a thorough collection of interaction diagrams. Thanks.

Nilson and Nawy concrete textbooks have a fairly large selection of interaction diagrams. I can scan and post them for you if you need.

The CRSI manual is very comprehensive. It's not free but maybe you can find someone that has it and make some photocopies of that section.

It would seem to be that it would be unusual to have a problem on he PE exam where you have to set up a M-P diagram. If you needed one, they would provide it.

I took CRSI into the SE I exam for this exact reason, but didn't need it.

Any examiner who requires a specific knowledge of P-M Interaction diagrams in order to answer a question on an exam should be dismissed forthwith because he or she does not understand the purpose of education.

Most concrete textbooks will have P-M diagrams in them. Get your hands on some non-dimensional P-M diagrams that can be applied for most columns.

thanks for the comments. I actually found a very good compilation in the 2002 ACI design manual.

BARetired, not sure where you were going with your comment?

It doesn't matter, NS4U. You found what you wanted.
