Option Equivalent to plane cut - IN UG 7.5

Is there any option equivalent to plane cut . I need to perform a plane cut in a assembly which consists of electric wires and plugs.
But, the asembly cut option is not allowing me to select the bodies.

Are the bodies that you're attempting to cut Components in the Assembly or simply bodies that were created IN the Assembly? Note that the Assembly Cut function only allows you to cut Components.
