I have a customer using version 18 and can't open my version 20 part files. Is there a converter out there I can use for this? I want to send him files he can modify and exporting as another type removes the solid edge data needed.

In a word.... NO

Quadro FX4600.

Where would we be without sat-nav?

As with many (most?) cad systems, Solid Edge is not backward compatible.

If it's only small change maybe he can get away with the parasolid files and using the modify tools but it can be very restraining.

Only a thought.

Just make sure you save it in a version of Parasolid that V18 can handle.
