open a m-file in matlab not the editor by doubleclicking

is it possible to start a matlab m-file (not the editor) by linking it to a htmllink. normally matlab starts the matlab editor if the m-file is linked or doubleklicked. how can i prevent matlab from doing this? is there a command to define this process in the mfile?
