Dear Engineers,
I am a Facility Engineer at a Naphtha Jet Hydrotreater producing Low sulfur diesel as the main product that goes direct to Market. The diesel quality related to cloud point is a challenge to maintain especially during winter when the spec is very low (-40 degC). We take product samples twice a day (once per shift) and make changes accordingly. For better quality control I am looking to implement a continuous on-line cloud point analyzer that gives our Control Room Panel operators feedback on the diesel cloud pt. We currently have a Diesel Advanced Control System in our DCS that predicts cetane and cloud point based on feed diet and lab results. However, the more results/samples we take the more accurate it would be.
Is there anyone that knows about a continuous on-line cloud point analyzer, and would appreciate some contacts.
Highly Appreciated,
Regards
