Old Residential Codes

I am looking into a thermal issue for an existing residential (low-rise) structure. I am trying to find whether or not BOCA 1984 covered residential structures also or if there was a separate residential code like there is now. I am unable to find any references to residential codes online from that time period. Does anyone know the applicability of BOCA from that time?

There was a "One and Two Family Dwelling Code" put out by BOCA at the time.
