I'm doing a parameter study of predicting the lube oil consumption (LOC) trend. In all cases, oil throw-off has the biggest share but the trend is not always the same.
I think that the oil consumption due to throw-off should increase as the engine speed increases. Does the initial oil supply thickness in my parameter studies has something to do with this?

Oil throw problem is experienced even when the engine is underloaded. However, I could not get any information about at what load the engine will start oil throw and what is the permissible limit for oil throw. Can anybody help please?
