I need help to calculate oil flow rate on lube system on a triplex pump. I have a 1" input lube manifold that is 3.5 ft long. On One side is the input and the other side is plugged.

Three, 1/4 " dia, 1 ft long hoses are connected (90 degree to manifold)to the lube manifold at 10 inches away from each other.

Two,1/2 " dia 2 ft long hoses are connected at each end (same as above), one after the input and one at the other end just before the plugged end is.
I do know the manufacturers has told me, the gear pump used to pump oil to the plunger pump is a 35 gpm pump. Manufacturer recommends to use( SAE 220 90 wt Gear oil), the system should maintain a pressure of 70-100 psi in the system.

OK. The gear pump is a positive displacement pump and delivers a fixed amount of fluid per revolution. A pump designated as a 35gpm pump delivers 35gpm at the rated speed, usually 1800rpm. Without knowing the speed at which the pump is being run, I can only say 35gpm at the gear pump rated speed. At any other speed, the pump will deliver flow in proportion to the ratio of operating speed to rated speed.

This assumes no internal leakage and no loss through a pressure control valve(relief valve)or directional control valve.

I think, I may have confused you, in explaining what I am looking for. I want to know how much is the flow coming out of the 1/4" and the 1/2" hose. if the manufacturer recommends a 35 gpm gear pump that is feeding the 1" oil lube manifold.

Lots of unknowns. Operating temp. Speed of the lube pump. And expecially, flow resistance of each triplex pump lube point being fed by the lube system.

It would make sense that if you provide lube delivery per the pump manufacturer's requirements, there will be sufficient lube flow to the triplex lube points. No need to spend time calculating the detail flows in the lube system.
