I am currently investigating an alternative corrosion protection solution for pressure vessel small bore nozzles in the oil and gas industry. We are currently using epoxy sleeves from a industry leader in the oil and gas field. We are experiencing numerous failures with these inserts and would like to replace it with a long term / permanent solution.

Did you try using corrosion resistant (stainless steel perhaps) inserts?

Epoxy Inserts or application of composite i,e epoxy impregnated glass fibre fabric on the nozzles. If yes, then yes they are Temporary repair only. If you want to go for permanent solution then wait for SD period and replace the nozzle.
