Odd minimized tab behavior in Solidworks 2018 - can anyone help

Recently when I minimize open files in SW2018 the tabs are much smaller than they once were. Previously I could read a partial file name. Now they are so small all I can see is the close (X) sign. Has anyone seen this or know how to correct it? Pic is attached.

The only time I have seen odd behaviour like this was when someone was using a 4K monitor, and at the time (I'm not sure if 2020 is any better) Solidworks did not like UHD monitors at all.

I appreciate you posting on this. I am using a 4k monitor, but it is the same setup I have been using for years and this just started happening. I switched over to a 1080 monitor and the behavior is the same :-(
