Oblique Reference Dimension in proE

I am new to proE. I was trying to add an oblique reference dimension in the sketcher(i.e. shortest distance between two points). However when I place dimensions I always get verticle or horizontal distance. How do I do this?

Create a construction line between the two points and create your reference dimension from it.
