NX9 Dialog collapsing everytime I generate an operation

Hi All,

Every time I generate a contour profile operation the 'Path Settings' portion of the Operation Dialog Box closes by itself.
Also if I keep generating the other Dialog entries below 'Path Settings' start to open up from bottom up each time I generate and stay in the operation
(1st the Options then Description, Program, Machine Control, etc.)

Tried deleting dialog memory and looked at the template file for mill_multi_axes.prt and a few other template part files but didn't see the problem there.
I have save layout on exit checked and Default Dialog Layout set to More? Also tried updating from template and from another part file. Seen this behavior 1 other time in drilling dialog box.

Not sure what is going on, very frustrating,

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rick D

I don't think it will help, but it sounds like you've tried everything else I can suggest but the following.

Using the registry editor, rename the NX9.0 key at: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\UNIGRAPHICS SOLUTIONS\NX\9.0
This is where NX9 stores some preferences to do with the NX interface.
As I said I don't think it will help, but it's worth a shot.

If you rename, then when you start NX, it will be like it's never been started before.
If it doesn't work, you can rename the key back and it will be like you've never done anything.

I agree you've done the right things - clear the dialog memory and check the dialog in the template part.
This sounds familiar - it could be an existing issue. Please log a call with GTAC.
