Hi,
I'd like to reduce the lenght of the external dimension arrow line like the image attached.
It's possible to set in the customer default or in the drafting preferences ?

Thank you...

Using NX 8 and TC9.1

Hi Jerry,
I've found the option on the customer default, but if I load all customer default preferences in the drafting, the new dimensions don't have the new setting.
This works only if I create a drawing starting from a blank template.
I will open an ER.
This problem is present also in NX9.

Thank you...

The length of that "out arrow" appears to be tied to the character height.

Not that this information helps, though...

The option calculate the length of this out line related to the factor applied to the dimension text character size.
I can't reduce the height dimension text to reduce this out line...

Thank you...

The solution is to set in the customer default and then on each template or drafting go to Tools->Drafting standard and click on 'Applay'. Starting now all dimension will use this new setting.

Thank you...
