NX8.5: Unable to select multiple faces in Variable Offset command

Hi,

NX8.5.. Is there any reason for not allowing to select multiple faces in Variable Offset command? If the surfaces are sewn also, the finder selects one face at a time..

Just a guess
I assume that the surfaces need to be tangent continuos if you want to offset them together.

Hi Jerry,

The surfaces are all tangent continuos.. All sewn ... Face Finder option is set to Face, but I guess its only set to single face at a time by default as the selection intent option is greyed out for toggling multiple select..

just another guess;
Try increasing you tolerances under
Preferences -> Modeling -> General (tab)
