NX7.5 Assembly commands don't work after re-load of software

I had some issues with my machine and had to re-load / repair NX7.5.4 and now my assembly commands are grayed out. is there a toggle that I need to set to get these back?

I reloaded 7.5 as well as the 7.5.4.4 patch.

On the NX start menu, make sure the "Assemblies" application is toggled on (it should have a check mark next to it).

please walk me through this. I know I have seen in the past what you are talking about but I am not seeing it now.
when you say the "NX Strat" menu and you talking about "File" in the menu bar? If so, I see under flie\options an assembly load options but that does not seem to do it.

The NX start menu has the NX icon on it, when pressed it shows a drop down menu of the applications. In my setup, it is on the 'standard' toolbar and is located right below the main menu. I believe this is the out-of-the-box default location, your location may be different depending on any customizations done.
