I think thats what it is called. It is the drop down of icons for choosing whether to select end point, control point, center of arc etc...

Currently when I go into drafting, it is automatically showing up at the top of my window. It annoys the crap out of me! Is it possible to turn that off and just have it on a ribbon only?

I have added it to the bottom ribbon, but I cannot figure out how to turn the one on the window off.

My brain is like a sponge. A sopping wet sponge. When I use it, I seem to lose more than I soak in.

I don't think it is possible.
I like the old way better too.

I think that I commented on the Siemens forum that this was a change that this is a cost only change, it does not add any value.
rather the opposite, WE have to click two clicks instead of one to make a change. and it obscures the display.
It's a smoke and mirrors change for the journalists, "Look how different the system is now and how many changes we have done!"
I could name a number of things in NX that could need a facelift but the point snap was nowhere near that list.

Tomas

Never try to teach a pig to sing. I wastes your time and it annoys the pig.:-)

When you're in sketch mode, the 'File' changed to 'Task'. just right click the bar and you can disable this toolbar. Its the same window bar that you click to customize your tools.
