We are running NX12 on workstations and it has been a while since I have done weights of my parts. I have already assigned material to each component at the component level.

At the assembly level how do I go about asking what the weight is of some group of the components?

Thank you,
Gary A.

Now that I have been pointed in the right direction I am not getting the information window to open with the results even though I have it toggled on.

Secondly, I can select multiple components one by one, but is there a way to select multiple components by boxing them in like we do with other selection functions?

If you use "object set" and set your filter to "solid body", you can rectangle select around everything you want to measure. In the result filter, make sure the "body" option is turned on. If you select bodies, but the body option is not on, no results will be sent to the info window.

Thank you cowski, that helped and I have been able to get the weights I needed.

Yes, I think you can still select them with a rectangle.
You can also select the components in your assembly tree.
