My self and several colleagues have noticed missing results from our Random analysis.

I can't upload a picture due to our firewall restrictions.

Stress results were selected for all elements in a group, however, looking at the results, there are patches of elements for which there are no results. The elememts are plotted on the screen but have no results associated with them. We have tried rebuilding the database, renumbering and rebuilding the output group and recreating the ouput group immediately prior to the analysis run but only receive partial output.
Has anyone else noticed this, or have any suggestions for a way forward?
We are running FEMAP10.2 on 64bit Windows7 HP workstation with 8Gb RAM and 8 processors.

regards,
Carlton.

Have you called GTAC about this? I haven't seen this particular issue but I have seen similar problems. The op2 file exists so the model ran, but the results don't display on the screen.

Further checking of the model output shows the results stop after 14993 elements for this particular model.
I cross posted the issue to the GTAC forum, but no reply as yet. I shall forward the problem to our product support now I have a better idea of the problem.
Did you resolve your problem ?
Carlton.

Dear Carlton,
Go to the MODEL INFO TREE of FEMAP and in the section "MODEL > ELEMENTS > BY TYPE" check that you don't have any PLOT PLANAR elements.
Best regards,
Blas.

The ouput group was created based on element types. There are no Plot elements in the model. The problem has been reported to Siemens, and is currently under investigation. I was looking to see if other people had the same experience and to see if there was a known work around.
Carlton.
