NX 9 Operating System and Hardware requriements??

Please let me know what is system configuration ( Hardware and Operating system) requried for NX 9 and above .

Hi sudhirnhuilgol,

If you are running CAD only, then generally 2 to 4 Gb RAM and 1 to 2 Gb graphic card will be fine. I always prefer NVidia Quadro if within budget. Window 7 64bit is good. Please take note that NX9 only available in 64bit.

Hi Mr Tuw,

Thanks for providing support on my query .

My observation :

I have 12GB of RAM in my system with OS of Win 7 & 64bit , but when i perform any operation like geometry change or do some logical calculation with in NX on huge Templates / CAD .

To give results/output will take more time . Which is bothering my work .

Could you please suggest some best practice or settings to be made in our NX session which can improve the performance of the Application also the system ?

Hi Sudhir,

May I know what is your current graphic card?

The CPU chip and its speed will also have an impact on performance, but most likely it is a graphics issue.
Also, what version of Windows7 doe you have? It comes in different levels and only the higher levels are supported.
