NX 9 - FLANGED PATCH 1

Hi,

Please, have a look at the attached file:

I want to create a flanged patch (similar the translucent grey cover) that should lay right on the face of the yellow part (let's call it a cross member).
After they have been assembled it shouldn't be any interference between the cover and the blue part.
The cover has a flange for reinforcement. The cover will be either welded or fixed with2 bolts.
I want to mention that the attached part file is just a rough model, but I hope you'll understand what I meant.
At the moment I have trouble in creating a cover that lays on the cross member.
Please, share your method in putting together this assembly.

The problem that I encountered was in laying an uniform flange on the yellow component.
