1. what is a 3D-part (modeling) file size limit
2. what is limit for number of elements in the tree (can i have a single file of 3D model with c.3000 different extudions, rotates, ...)
OR : can one make 3D-model of one-floor house, with smallest details, in one single file?

Thanks

Since NX uses 64-bit addressing for it's data model there is no practical limit in terms of the file size itself. Now there is a recommended limit to the physical size of a model and that is that it must be contained within a one kilometer cube whose center is located at 0,0,0. As for the complexity of the model in terms of the number of features, again there is no practical limit. Note that for most people, the capacity and performance of your hardware will become the limiting factor long before you ever approach any of the limitations of the software itself. As for your example of modeling a house down to whatever level of detail that you desire, since we have many customers using NX to design and manufacture products much more complex than a house, such as automobiles, trucks, aircraft, jet engines, steam/gas turbines, submarines, ships, etc. I suspect that a 'house' would be no problem whatsoever.

Thanks John. Might be I was not so clear with a question.
The house should be modeled all in one single file (one part), no assembly involved.
Does still apply all you said above?

YES, but if you did do that (model it all in one single file) you could be charged with 'software abuse' ;-)

Why would you WANT to model a house in a single file.
Take advanatge of the repetitive components like windows, doors, even wall studs and make the file more manageable.
Plus by doing it as an assembly, you get an automated BOM of your materials.

you right loslib.
I just realized that is easier to count studs and panels, than to take care of so numerous files. If just one file is missed for whatever reason i can get a large scale trable. So i decided to put all in one file, and use copy-paste for repeated walls, ...., and just make a spare copy of the file.

Not only will putting all the modeling data into a single file waste memory when the part is open, since by default EVERYTHING has be fully loaded, it will also take up a lot more space on disk and will take a very long time to open and save the part file when changes are made. Like I said, you're guilty of 'software abuse' pure and simple.

What you're doing is equivalent to buying a pickup-truck and then going to Home Depot to get some manure for your flower beds but instead of putting the bags in the back you pile them next to you in the passenger compartment.

Might be this computer got some strange nerves, but i load nearly done house in NX (previously made in Catia-5) and it is regenated while i say 'puf', and saves in c.2 second.
The speed of HD changed NX behaviour, speed sake, totaly.
