Whenever I try to copy a note in NX 6.0.4.3 that contains either <W@$SH_SHEET_NUMBER> or <W@$SH_NUMBER_OF_SHEETS> (and possibly others that I haven't tested), I get the following error message:

Enter Drafting Application
Error recovery completed for the following error:
An illegal file was given to the tag system.

Both existing notes and brand new notes behave this way as long as the text contains one of the tags I mentioned which leads me to believe those are the root cause.

I was not able to reproduce that problem using NX 6.0.5.3. I did a copy & paste of a note containing ONLY the smart text as well as ones which contained both of the smart text strings as well as additional manual text, and I encountered no problems.

I tried it also in NX6 and had the same problem, with the same error message, that SBrocket had.

Jerry, what was the exact version of NX 6.0 that you were testing this on?

I can't repeat the problem in 6.0.2.8.

I just tried duplicating the problem in a brand new file and couldn't, so it must be related to some other setting or condition as well. Can't post the actual file where the error occurs, obviously, but I'll try and reproduce it with a junk file that I can post.

I am on NX6.0.4.3 - so I guess that could be the problem.
So maybe if the file with the problem is saved again, the problem will go away as long as the latest version of NX6 is loaded.
