NX Drafting - Notes not showing on sheet

Hello!

I am using NX 2306. In the drafting application, I am trying to add a 'Note' to the sheet, but when I place the note, it does not show up. There is a symbol that shows beside the sheet (I have attached a screenshot), which I am not familiar with. Does anyone know what this symbol means? Or why the notes are not showing?

That symbol is new to me also.

Check that your work layer ( "Layer Settings" ) is visible on the sheet itself.( Layers visible in View) -select the Sheet and not any of the view-s.
You can also do "Information - Object , ( Ctrl+I) then select the sheet ( use part navigator for selection)
the visible layers will be listed as "Visible Layers".

This issue was resolved by restarting the PC.
