Nut bearing stress effect on thread force

Hi,

I would like to find the relationship between the loss in nut material (due to corrosion) and the internal nut thread force. Is there an equation to relate both?

I know the nut area will affect the bearing pressure, but can't develop it further.

Does it cause bending? If not then the load is the same.
