Is there a limit to the number of cells on a worksheet that can have if statements?
I kow you can nest 7. I want ot put 200+ on one sheet and somewhere around 60 it seems to ignore them.
I have searched help and as usual if I don't ask exactly the right question I don't find it.
sorry of such a stupid question, I'll keep trying. I do appreciate the help I know I'll get here. Thank you.

I tried to duplicate your problem but could not. I use Excel 2000 and could fill thousands of cells with a formula with 7 nested if statements and it worked fine.

Thank you.
I'll keep trying. I am doing something that I am knot seeing. Brute force and persistence will prevail.

Have you researched Microsoft's Office web site? It provides more information than the Help function.

I've got 3600 lines of if statements in one simulation, it works fine.

Cheers
