NTC thermistor in humid invironment.

Please let me know what is happening with the NTC material in a thermistor (the technical explanation) when it is sitting in humid environment.

The best source for the information your looking for would be a thermistor manufacturer sales engineer or try the applications libraries at several manufacturers sites.
