nother fm 200 question

say 500 sq ft room with just some servers in it.

what concentration of fm 200 is normal???

they are specing 6.25%
 
I looked at some more info they submitted and kiddie says that for class A they only need 6.25 %

Assuming you're in the US, and not in the ocean (i.e. under USCG regulations), and your system is discharged automatically, the technical response is that the design concentration be 20% above the "Cup Burner Test".

In Europe the minimum concentration is 30% above cup burner.

In the US for systems operated manually only, the concentration is also 30% above cup burner.

I only say this because years ago, during the Halon 1301 days, the concentration was uniform across all manufacturers. Since the introduction of NFPA 2001, it has been manufacture dependent. In the early days of NFPA 2001, most manufacturers were at 7% but several were at 7.2%. As of about 2002, they all dropped down to 6.25% for automatically released systems.

Understand that this is manufacture driven based on testing they've done with various approval bodies (i.e. UL). Kidde however also recommends a much higher concentration for Class A and C hazards for offshore.

Now, I'm guessing you're not offshore, but I thought I through that in anyway.
