Typical Norwegian attitude.... A bit of a surprise, but nothing woke me up....

This forum is learning that loss of power/loss of steering incidents in the maritime industry are not so uncommon. Asleep at the wheel, is also a frequent occurrence.

Double negative there Tug - So these incidents are commonplace?

I get the asleep bit alright but thought a lot of ships were now on autopilot or does that mean they just maintain speed and heading?
