Hi - working in the UK my day starts at 9:00 start, 12:00 to 13:00 lunch and end of day is 17:00.

I can get a calendar to do this since 8am is the default start time. However I cannot get 8 to 9 to display as non-working time on the gannt view! Any ideas?

I have! It is the right hand side of the screen (where the bars, days, non-working time) is visually displayed that I cannot get it to gray out 8am to 9am.

MSP, unfortunately, is rather stupid about this. You need to go to Change Working Time, select M for monday, shift-click F for friday, and the change the start time on the right.

That for some reason does not work in 2007, but it made me think of something else and have entered a working time exception that repeats weekly on Monday to Friday with 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 17:00 and that has done the trick.

Cheers.
