Hi,
I decided to no section a pin in a view with the command 'Section in view'.
The command work fine, but the crossatch remain.
I deleted the crossatch.
After that I decided to section the pin so with the command 'Section in view' I resectioned the pin, but the crossatch is not created.
I need to add the crossatch manually ?

Thank you...

Using NX 8 and TC9.1

When the original nut is sectioned by itself, it doesn't show the cross-hatching lines.
However if the original nut is exported to parasolid file and re-imported into NX, and then do the sectioning again, it does show the cross-hatching lines. See attached snapshots. It seems like the original nut part file has to change some attribute setting in order to have it to display the cross-hatching lines.

Sorry Bwsh, you don't have understand the question.
The problem is not on the nut but on the pin.
Please read well the topic.

In NX 6, it works this way:
Edit -> View -> Section In View
Pick the view, then pick the Select Object icon in the Section In View menu.
Select object -> OK
Regenerate view

Pin should now be sectioned.

Regenerate view was the missed operation at the final.
Thank you
