Hi,

I have downloaded a part from GrabCad of a Landing leg from a Falcon 9 rocket. I need to fill in the internal volume as shown in the image below, however since it was downloaded from the site, it has no model history and therefore I cannot change it through the model history. How can this be achieved?

The model part has also been attached, thank you!

YOu could try using delete face command, using the synchronous tools. Then you can select pocket or boss for quick selection. What version of NX are you using?

If you just want to fill this in, delete face (region faces option) is quick & easy.
Edit: the boss/pocket face filter as recommended by SDETERS is even easier.

Hi, I followed your video, I don't understand how you went from clicking 2 faces to having 31 faces selected, how did you switch from single plane to region planes, when i click a face I am limited to feature face, single face and tangent faces. Thank you!

I used the region faces rule. It prompts for a "seed" face which is the first selection (one of the faces you want to delete), then a "boundary face" where you can select one or more faces that surround the ones you want to select. When you are done selecting boundary faces, you press MB2 to actually perform the selection (watch the prompt area) and OK to delete them. However, as stated before, the "pocket" faces is an even easier method - select one of the faces you want to delete and OK.
